Ellen Saga Part 2

The Ellen saga continues.....how stupid is is that they will not give the dog to the people who care for it.

Ellen Continues

And since this is a little boring....I thought I would include my two cents;

I do not understand why the dog rescue people are making such a big deal about this. Yes they have rules against adopting dogs out to people who have kids under a certain age. But they said they probably would have made an exception for this family if Ellen had just told them - and ASKED them to let the family have the dog.
What the hell is going on with all these people freaking out over having their power taken away!? I don't get it.
And the kitty is cute! When my daughter is around if she catches a cat in a yawn she is compelled to touch their tongue with her finger, which of course ruins their yawn. I don't get that either!!

I have to agree with you. It seems to me that people have been acting a tad on the aggressive side lately, and mean spirited.

I thought the cat picture was too cute, so I had to post it....when my dogs yawn, I do the same thing as your daughter...its because their so cute while they do it

Ellen caused the animal place to close their website and shut their phones off. While I agree that my heart goes out to the little girls who do not have a puppy now, I think that power in the right hands can be good. What Ellen did in my opinion was a bad call and she used her air time to try and regain power she thought she had.

In the end, this only causes a rift and had it not gone public, there may have been a better chance of getting the puppy back.

On a lighter note, we enjoyed the cat picture, your photography is excellent as always.

Take Care.

I agree with the adoption agency. They are placing animals in homes that they deem the best fit. They have rules and reason behind those rules. The dog should have been returned and properly adopted out. Its not like the dog was being destroyed or harmed, it was just begin return to continue its search for a proper home. My 2 year old wants, and would love, a new puppy, but that doesn't mean its a good fit......

Thanks for posting your comment...I don't know, I see it as bureaucracy...and I think that the dog had a good home, and that was the whole idea...

But one thing for sure, bottom line, I am pleased that so many people care about the dog, and that is what matters the most.

I do think that Ellen was over the top on the whole thing, I thought she was having a nervous breakdown. I wonder if it was real?
