Hike With Us.....

There is nothing I like more then....you may have already guessed this answer; Obviously I love spending quality time with my 9 month old puppy, Mr. Pink Pinkerton.

Together we love to hit the road and become ONE with nature , we walk as a team, woman and her dog, traveling through the mountainous trail, just me and my buddy, and the blue sky.....

Today our hike is Fortuna Mountain on a VERY hot day. The drive to the hike is always done with great anticipation.



We were hiking in temperatures of probably 100 degrees....It was friggin HOT



This is the part of the hike that is the nicest, the only place where there are trees and the ground is level...after this we start going straight up a mountain.



Here is where it gets hard...we go up steps that are embedded into a mountain. We climb about 1500 feet above sea level. It is a great workout for both of us.



This is at the top.....and when Pinky needs a hiking break..he jumps up and then I wrap him around my neck and we continue on with the hike. This is great core work for me....I love adding the extra 15 pounds while walking....



This is the gist our our Fortuna Mountain hiking....It is a 3.5 mile loop that takes us about 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete. Both of us are getting in great shape....More hikes to come!
