This is pathetic, still sick with this cold. It has gone to my ears and I can't hear...It is really quite embarrassing, because when I do go out in public I have to say Huh? to anyone who asks me a question.
I now know what its like to be deaf.
It is also quite pathetic of me, that I have more to post on my Pawhealing With Herbs blog than on my personal blog.
On that note, I have been doing some work on trying not hold grudges;
I called my Aunt Patty because I know that she is very sick, and I figured, okay she hung up on me...I can be bigger than that, and called her....twice.
She never called me back....so;
LOL, I guess she REALLY HUNG UP ON ME!
Meaning; she doesn't care to ever speak with me again.
I can live with that, I feel better that I at least attempted to do the right thing, and by not holding in a grudge; lets go of toxic junk that circulates through my mind.
I honestly feel better that I did the right thing, and I now feel like I can let go of the relationship, because I really really tried.
It takes two people to make a healthily relationship.

So you've got that cold that's gone to your ears too. My parents have had that. They're always hard of hearing due to their age, but this has made it so much worse. I just didn't know what to think about the cold settling in their ears. Prescriptions the doctor gave them don't seem to be helping much, and the doctor said they may have to just wait it out.
Not that I want you to be sick, not at all, but I'm rather interested in someone else experiencing this, because it's really bothered my parents. It does finally seem to be passing as of just this week. The holidays were rough, though.
I don't think you're pathetic at all. It seems to be a really rough cold that is making people feel really bad. I think it's a new strain of the virus or something. I hope you're better soon.
The answer is that its a damp attack to the head. I need to do herbs that clear dampness.
I will find out today, and let you know the formula that I'm going to take...because it really is a BIG problem, because I CAN'T hear....at all.
This has happened before, but this is the worse.

I believe in trying with the people close to us, but I also believe in cutting my losses when it's time. You're the only one who knows if it's time.
